You Make Me Smile!

Hello Magnolia Friends!
Thank you for joining us here at TOMIC!

Today, I am sharing a simple card as inspiration to our challenge this month.
It is finally Springtime and soon enough there will be beautiful flowers in bloom. And just the thought of that makes me smile.
I colored this cutie using Copic Markers and layered it on top of some patterned paper. And I think the film strip DooHickey Die goes well with this stamp because of the camera hanging on Tilda’s neck. What do you think?

In a few days, this months challenge will come to an end. So be sure to link up and share your creations with us and get a chance to win a prize from Magnolia!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.
Love,
Mae

Roses Are Red Tilda

Hi, it's Jane here with my inspiration post for you for our first challenge of "Spring and at least one Doohickey Die".  I have created a lollipop card using Roses Are Red Tilda from the Hugs and Kisses Collection.  All of the papers are from Maja Design.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added white dots to her cheeks and eyes using a white gel pen.  The sentiment was cut from the bottom of the paper and trimmed to size.

I have used the Rose Leaf Doohickey die, Sakura Background Doohickey die and the Tilda Ticket Doohickey Die on my card.  Everything is inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink on the edges to tie everything together.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

You still have time to join us for our first challenge, I do hope you can join us!

Spring is in the air

Hello everyone hope you are having a great week :)

Back today with my entry for TOMIC and a reminder that you are in a chance to win a prize from Magnolia by participating in our monthly challenge.

This month's theme is Spring + use one Magnolia die at least.

I am loving your entries so far :)

Today I have created a card with the gorgeous Olive Tilda from the Little Italy Collection!

I have coloured her with distress inks and tried to achieve a vintage look with my card

I have used some lovely papers by Magnolia....yes Magnolia has a lovely range of papers you can use.

I have used most dies from Vintage Box 1 and Box 3 for my card

The frame around Tilda is a die I had been meaning to use. I still have so much stuff I haven't used in my die stash....must use it all :)

I have cut out two butterflies one on the postmark stamp and one on the metal cabochon I have used.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and have used some lavender pearl drops around my card as well.

Lace is from stash as well as that ceramic round cabochon with butterfly.

Hope to have sent some inspiration your way and hope to see more of your creations coming in for our challenge.

Lots of Love,
Claire

My Day For Inspiration - DT Camilla H (Swe)

Hi!
And welcome to my day here at TOMIC.
Today i want to show you a card i made to my dear friend at her birthday.
I hope you find some inspiration with my card.
Today i have use a little older Tilda to my cards.

* * *

I have made a card that measures 15x15 cm.
I have used a die from the GoKreate.
I used Bazzill cardstock "Powder Blue"
and the sweet pattern paper from  Pion Design.
Easter Greetings-" Spring meadow"
I stamp Tilda with "Versafine-Onyx Black".
"This Tilda is from You are so special Collection 2011"
And her name is: Tilda with Ballon.
I have painted Tilda with Distress ink.
Most in the blue color this time :)
* * *
All edges are inked with Distress pads "walnut stain"
The edges around Tilda and patterns papers are
sewed with my sewing machine.
I have put some Cracle accent in Tildas ballon.
I think it looks good.
Some of my decorations that I used on the card is:
Lace,cheesecloth, halfpearls
doily…and  stickles, sisals, charms and some white color
Some flower on my card and i loooove flowers.
Flowers made me happy :)
Some flower on my card and i loooove flowers  ;)
I love flowers in different colors... so it is a must on my cards.
But todays flower is most in blue and white :)
I usually paint on my flowers with white color, and put some stickles on.
I think it is so beautiful.
And i put some "sissel" under the flower to
I Looove this  die "Tassels"
it`s from Magnolia and DooHickey box vol 5 "Celebration"
Something I like is when Pauline make small lyrics for the stamps.
This lyrics is from the collection
"Yay,it´s your Birthday Collection 2017"
except "We may be miles apart..."
it´s from earlier Vintage 3 box from Magnolia.

This beautiful tag is a DooHickey Die from Magnolia.
The name is Tildas Tag.
I hope you love my card.
and find some inspiration to.
"with love from me"
Camilla

Foamiran flowers | by Camilla S (Norway)

Hi everyone!
Today I want to inspire you with a pocket card.
The lovely stamp is
World Wide Web collection 2015.

I colour with Distress Ink and Distress Markers.
The images is stamped with Memento - Rich Coccoa.
And I use the Langton water colour paper,
hot pressed 300 g to colour on.
The brushes is syntetic, and I usually use
size 0 and 000.

For the spots in Tilda's hair and around her,
I have used Liquid pearls.

For the flowers I have used the Peony Petal dies from Magnolia.
They are from the Wedding Collection 2010.
They are currently sold out in the Magnolia store.
But for foamiran flowers you can use any flower dies.
I like the Peony Petals very much because they are
a bit big, and then easier to work with.

Here is a step by step:

I want to give this card to a confirmand.
Therefore I have made a little paperstrip to put money in, inside the pocket card.
(With my Word Window Punch)

Another closeup of one of the flowers.

Thank you so much for visting the TOMIC blog today!
I hope I did inspired you with my pocket card.

With love,

Tilda Clown | By Becky

Good morning everyone, Becky here today to provide inspiration.

I have made an easel card, and used Clown Tilda coloured with distress reinkers.

The papers are both from Magnolia, and even though they are from different collections they go together beautifully, unfortunately I can't see them in the shop.

The rolled rose is from my stash, but the other flowers are all out of my Magnolia drawer, but I can only see the leaves in the shop, I do like adding a bit of foliage..

Thank you for stopping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx
