Tilda With Plant

Good morning!  Today it is my turn to inspire you over on the TOMIC blog where our theme this month is May Flowers.

I have used Tilda with Plant from the Upgrade Le Fleur collection.  As always I have painted with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.

The flowers and leaves were cut with Doohickey dies from Vintage box 1.  The papers are by Maja Design.

I have used the Newspaper stamp from the Upgrade LeFleur collection to create an embellishment piece.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at TOMIC this month.

Thanks for looking!

My Day For Inspiration - DT Camilla H (Swe)

Hi!
 And welcome back to my day here at TOMIC.
Today i will show you a card that i made for easter this year.
I Looooove this small collection of easter stamps :)
And i think this Tilda is my favorite :)
This card is a DT card for Magnolia.
* * *
I have made a card that measures 15x15 cm.
I have used a die from the GoKreate.
I used Bazzill card stock,
and the sweet pattern paper from  Maja Design.
Sofiero -" A Romantic picnic in the Park"
I stamp Tilda with "Versafine-Onyx Black".
"This Tilda is from HIPPITY HOPPITY Collection 2019"
Don´t know her name yet.
I have painted Tilda with Distress ink.
The motif is painted on Langton paper ,
with a synthetic brush in st 00.000.
* * *
All edges are inked with Distress pads "walnut stain"
The edges around Tilda and patterns papers are
sewed with my sewing machine.
To this card i have use dies from Magnolia.
* Tilda Doily from CF-10
* Tilda Tag from SCD-11
* Wild Strawberry & Leaf from SRC-11
*F l o w e r s*
Some of my decorations that I used on the card is:
Lace,cheesecloth, halfpearls
doily…and  stickles, sisals, m.m and some white color
Some flower on my card... and i loooove flowers.
Flowers made me happy :)
I love flowers in different colors... so it is a must on my cards.
But todays flower is most in pink and white :)
I usually paint on my flowers with white color, and put some stickles on.
I think it is so beautiful.
And i put some "sissel" under the flower to
I like to build my cards with layers and layers.
Under the motif I have added corrugated board as I first
chalk with walnut stain.
Then I painted with white decoration paint,
to be recalculated with Weathered wood.
During this I added white doily and some cheese cloth.
And a little more white decoration color.

Something I like is when Pauline make small lyrics for the stamps.
This lyrics is from the collection
"Lovely Emoiji Collection 2017"
except "We may be miles apart..."
it´s from earlier Vintage 3 box from Magnolia.

This beautiful tag is a DooHickey Die from Magnolia.
The name is Tildas Tag.
I hope you love my card.
and find some inspiration to.
"with love from me"
Camilla

Frames | By Becky

Hello, Becky here with you this evening with a very simple make using two Tilda images and some frames from Ikea.

I have coloured both FLOWER SHOP TILDA and TILDA WITH PLANT  with distress reinkers.

I think the simple image fits lovely with the whitebackground and frame.

They are now on the wall in my daughters room, as soon as she saw them she asked if she could have them!

Thanks for stopping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Gift Card Holder Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

Today I'm making a tutorial for gift card holder. It's a little bit different than you usually see. But I really hope you like it. If you make them, please tag me on Facebook or Instagram so I can visit you and admire your work.

Supplies you need are:

1. Colored image of choice. I use Tilda from Fixer Upper Collection, stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black on Fabriano Bristol paper. And I colored using Copic Sketch markers
2. Two 6"x6" designer paper from Magnolia
3. Some flowers in coordinated color, brad/paper fastener, bone folder, foam tape/glue
4. DooHickey dies Vintage Frames and Tags

Cut one of the designer paper with the largest DooHickey.

Cut the colored image using the second largest DooHickey

Cut a smallest tag with the second designer paper.

Cut the second designer paper using second largest DooHickey

Score and fold it in the middle using bone folder and cut a one sided oval on the folded side. Careful to measure if it fits the gift card but not all the way to close to the side.

Put a thin foam tape around the inside, and carefully glue the insert.

Punch a hole in the middle of the largest and image paper, and assemble the smallest tag together with brad/paper fastener.

Glue the gift card holder insert onto the largest paper, and decorated with dies and flowers to your liking.

Here's the insert if you slide the image aside, you can write to who on the smallest tag.

Hope you like it, please give it a go. It took only roughly half an hour to make, and it will give a whole new level to your gift card.

Hugs,
Irene Daryanto
